Homework by Week
Looking for fun activities to do with your kids? Try one of these, but always try and read to them, 20 minutes everyday.
Week 9/23-9/27:
Say the letters in your child’s name 10x. |
Talk about words that start with E. |
Practice walking up and down stairs, switching feet. |
Take a pictures of something you are doing and have your child tell a story with pictures. |
Read 20 minutes every day! |
Go to church (Sunday counts). |
Play a board/card game |
Draw a picture and talk about the shapes you are drawing. |
Practice rolling snakes or balls with playdough or something similar. |
Week 9/16-9/20:
Write name in chalk. |
Write as many words as you can that start with “F”. |
Draw a Picture of your favorite family dinner. |
Take a pictures of something you are doing and have your child tell a story with pictures. |
Read 20 minutes every day! |
Go to church (Sunday counts) |
Play a board/card game |
Count 5 circles in your house |
Find and name colors of rainbow in your house. |
Week 9/9-9/13:
Make up a song where you spell your child’s name in it. (Explanation in Class Dojo). |
.Count how many L’s you can find |
Collect 5 leaves that are changing color. |
Do a Leaf Rub. (Explanation in Class Dojo). |
Read 20 minutes every day! |
Go to church (Sunday counts). |
Play a board game. |
Look at the pictures in a book and make up your own story. |
Find 5 things that are red in your house. |
Week: 9/3-9/6
Count the letters in your name. |
Count 10 pink flowers. |
Draw a picture for your family. |
Go to Church. |
Read 20 minutes every day! |
